A mosque and community center in Birmingham has been targeted with racist graffiti for the second time in two days, raising concerns among local Muslim residents and drawing renewed attention to increasing Islamophobia across the United Kingdom.
The attacks occurred at Jami Community and Education Center, where the word “terrorist” was spray-painted on the building earlier this week. Community members also reported that windows were smashed in a separate incident two weeks ago.
The repeated attacks have created a climate of fear and anxiety for many worshippers. Community leaders say these incidents are not isolated, but part of a broader pattern of growing hostility toward Muslim communities nationwide.
Police are treating the incidents as religiously motivated vandalism and have increased patrols in the area while reviewing CCTV footage.
